After locating this hut for my stay I returned to my former place and collected a few of my belongings, which were of immediate necessity carrying them on my head. I transported a few head loads thus. I was not used to this kind of ordeal, as there was constant fear of the deadly birds coming to drop their fiery eggs at any moment.
Besides, there was no labour to do this kind of job. If at all you found anyone to do this kind of job the payment had to be done in clothes or food grains. The former I could still give the latter was scarce. I had to console my family by telling them that our life was much better compared to many others who had lost everything.
