Barcelona are prepared to cough up a fee for Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
Azpilicueta saw his deal extended 12 months by Chelsea towards the end of last season. However, he wishes to move to Barca over the summer.
Cadena SER says Azpilicueta has been pushing Chelsea to grant him a free transfer.
However, Barca are willing to pay a €5m fee to smooth negotiations and bring him to Spain.
The Catalans have already informed Chelsea of their offer and are now waiting on a response.
