Former Malmo coach Jon Dahl Tomasson is in talks with Blackburn Rovers about the manager's job.
Rovers are in the process of hiring a new manager after the departure of Tony Mowbray.
And former Newcastle and AC Milan striker Tomasson is now in talks, says Ekstra Bladet.
Tomasson had two years with Malmo, where he twice won the league and led the club into the Champions League, but the Dane himself chose to walk away six months ago.
Rovers finished eighth on the Championship table last season.
