Manchester United face having to go higher to buy Ajax striker Antony.

United are in pole position to land the Brazilian given his strong relationship with Red Devils boss Erik ten Hag at the Amsterdam Arena while the player's representatives have travelled to Europe in order to discuss a possible transfer this summer.

Brazilian journalist Jorge Nicola has now released a video outlining how Ten Hag is leading the charm offensive for the player.

Nicola reports Ten Hag has made Antony his number one attacking target. At the request of their manager, United have offered €45m to Ajax.

Nicola states there isn't a definite answer from the Eredivisie winners, but they are likely to reject the proposal.

Ajax are ready sell the Brazil international, but believe they can get a higher price.
