
KENINGAU: Sabah Credit Corporation (SCC) has contributed RM62.5 million from its annual profits to fund 400 welfare projects throughout the State since 2005, said its Chief Executive Officer George Taitim Tulas.
He said the projects involved the construction of rural hostels, open halls, classrooms, resource centres, kindergartens, orphanages, boarding houses and so on for women, children and people with disabilities.
He said for Sook, SCC had contributed eight CSR projects worth RM1.8 million, four projects in Tulid worth RM571,000 and 18 projects in Nabawan worth RM5 million.
“Today, we are very proud to be able to hand over four more CSR projects that have been completed in the Sook sub-district and Nabawan district.
