Julian Alvarez expects to start next season as a Manchester City player.
Alvarez's agent has denied reports that Marseille are in the running to sign the new Manchester City star on loan.
Alvarez, 22, is on his way to the Etihad Stadium this summer from River Plate and featured in Argentina's 3-0 victory over Italy in the innaugral Finalissima at Wembley on Wednesday.
While a loan move has been mooted since the deal was wrapped up in January, the striker looks set to play a role under Pep Guardiola.
"There is no chance that Julian will go to Olympique de Marseille," Fernando Hidalgo told Argetine journalist Marcelo Palacios.
