Juventus hero Mauro Camoranesi sees Mathijs de Ligt better suited to the Premier League.
The Holland defender is being linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
Camoranesi said: “De Ligt is an extraordinary player with an enormous future ahead of him. It's true, he makes mistakes, but what defender doesn't?
“I see him better suited to the Premier League than Serie A, a competition where there are more individual duels than in Italy."
On Juve, he added: “In the last four years, certain objectives have changed, they had three coaches in three seasons, with very different ideas and players with very different characteristics.
“There seemed to be a project at least in place a couple of years ago, then Maurizio Sarri was brought in with players not suited to his ideas. He won the Scudetto, but that's only because all the other teams were struggling badly."
