SEMPORNA: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) foiled an attempt to smuggle 180 cartons of tax-free cigarettes worth RM25,200 on the shores of Pulau Timbun Mata at 7.30am on Friday.
Semporna Maritime Zone Director, Maritime Commander Norrimi Hassan said Semporna Maritime Zone rushed patrol boats to the location upon receiving information and inspections around the island.
