Ajax captain Daley Blind has joked about teammate Jurrien Timber not being ready for Manchester United.
The young defender is a target for United and was outstanding in Holland's Nations League win against Belgium last night.
"No, he's not ready for the Premier League yet," Blind said jokingly at Holland's press conference after the convincing win over Belgium. “He is wise enough to make his own choice. I don't have to explain what kind of talent and what kind of player he is.
“He is very important to us," Blind continued his praise. “What he shows from the start is unbelievable. Of course, as a teammate, I hope he stays with us for another year, but I can't influence that.
"I can only say that Ajax must do its best to keep him. He has always been stoic from the start, works hard and never complains. A good boy who always wants to get better. That's enough, I think."
