Emile Smith Rowe is urging Arsenal teammate Eddie Nketiah to sign a new contract.
As things stand, the most prolific striker in England Under-21 history will be a free agent next month but Arsenal are trying to change his mind with fresh terms.
Smith Rowe added: “He's so good. We all want him to stay.
“I'm not sure what he's doing at the moment.
“It would be good for him to sign a new contract, definitely.
“The young players, we all stick together and it's great to play with each other.
“It was a tough end to the season but we're a young team. There's going to be a lot of good things coming from us in the future."
