Kota Kinabalu: The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) has launched the Huazong Education Fund with a goal to raise RM1.5 million in an effort to ensure the continuity of Malaysian Chinese education and assist several Chinese schools in Sabah.
Huazong President Tan Sri TC Goh said the fundraising initiative is organised in collaboration with the World Presidential Hall of Fame, with the participation of the former presidents of Bulgaria, Chile, Germany and South Africa.
He said donors will be entitled to receive an exclusive Presidential Signature Blend of wine (1.5-litre bottle) for every RM2,000 donated to the fund.
