Kota Kinabalu: The State Library is taking stock of its evolving role in community development around Sabah over the past 50 years as it gets ready to observe its golden jubilee.
Agency Director Hajah Fatimah Abdillah said the State Library first existed as a subdivision of the Information Department and operated out of one building in KK town.
