Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay is a candidate for the Barnsley manager's job.

The Yorkshire Post says Ramsay has made his way onto Barnsley's shortlist as they look to appoint a new manager.

The South Yorkshire club, who were relegated to League One this season, are looking to source a replacement for Poya Asbaghi, who was sacked in April.

It is claimed that they have a list of five or six candidates in mind for the job.

Ramsay moved to United last year to work under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and is expected to be part of Erik ten Hag's backroom team next season.
