Ajax defender Jurrien Timber has addressed concerns about his height.
The centre-back is a key target for Manchester United this summer.
Their new manager Erik ten Hag wants to reunite with Timber, after bringing the 20-year-old into the first team at the Dutch club the past couple of seasons.
When asked about his future, Timber was non-committal, but did mention his desire to improve his skills.
"I sometimes felt that it was my first real season with Ajax," Timber told De Telegraaf on international duty.
"I have learned to play with aches and pains and I have started to perform more consistently.
"But I want to develop further. For example, I am not the tallest.
"That's why I train my jumping a lot, because I want to learn to head better. It is also a challenge to perform fairly consistently season after season - getting better from a standard level. That is my goal."
