Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is ready to give Facundo Pellistri a chance in preseason.
The Uruguay winger spent this past season on-loan with Alaves.
The right winger rejoined the La Liga side on loan last summer after a successful short-term stint in the second-half of the 2020/21 campaign. However, he only made six starts for Alaves this season.
However, Pellistri has been impressive with Uruguay, making five starts for Uruguay already this calendar year.
The Manchester Evening News says Pellistri will be given a chance to show new manager Ten Hag what he can do in pre-season, though another loan exit next season is not being ruled out.
It is understood the Uruguay international is eager to gain regular playing time next season and he acknowledges a loan move might help in his bid to start matches at the World Cup later this year.
