Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has revealed his reasons for exiting.
The Frenchman is not signing a new contract at the club, and will move on as a free agent on June 30th.
Lacazette spent five seasons at the club, netting 71 goals in 206 games and winning the FA Cup.
The 31-year-old is set for a move to ex-club Lyon in Ligue 1.
During an interview with Arsenal's official website, Lacazette said: "With the club we decided to go apart. The club is taking a new direction and we are at the end of my contract as well. Now it is time for me to have a new experience, a new adventure.
"I want to keep all the good moments I had in the club, because for me it was just a pleasure to play for a club that, since I was young, I dreamt of.
"I'm really happy to have played for five years for Arsenal. I'll keep in contact with my team-mates, with the coaches, with the club.
"I supported Arsenal since I was young, so obviously I'm going to keep supporting them. I know I will come back to the stadium as well."
