Manchester United shot-stopper David de Gea has wished Jesse Lingard and Paul Pogba well for their futures.

The duo have left the club on the expiry of their contracts, with United set for a summer squad revamp.

Pogba is likely to re-join Juventus on a free for the second time in his career, while Lingard's destination is not yet known.

"Two special guys and characters, they gave so much to this football club," De Gea posted on Instagram.

"We have so many teammates in this sport, we achieved a lot together and created amazing memories.

"I hope you both get everything you wish for in the future."
