Chelsea are making an offer for Sevilla defender Jules Kounde.
The London club is ready to pay €50m for the 23-year-old Frenchman.
Kounde has a contract with Sevilla to 2024 and club officials stated last week an expectation he would leave this summer.
Chelsea hope to wrap up a deal quickly for the Frenchman after losing defensive pair Toni Rudiger and Andreas Rudiger.
