Barcelona president Joan Laporta says their financial cuts will prove successful.
It's no secret that a top priority for Barcelona right now remains juggling their finances in order to be as competitive as possible in the transfer market and, therefore, on the field.
Cost cutting and additional funding sources are essential, but, again, Laporta is optimistic.
"We're working to turn Barcelona's finances around," said Laporta.
"If, next Thursday, members approve [our proposals], we'll have good news and we'll clean up our finances sooner than expected.
"Amongst other things, we'll be able to strengthen the professional teams and regain a degree of normality. The club was in a critical condition."
