Kota Kinabalu: Sabah recorded 10 Covid-19 cases fewer on Sunday, with the caseload dipping to 45 from 55 the day earlier, while no deaths or new clusters were identified, said Sabah’s Covid-19 Spokesperson Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun.

“The overall situation has improved with 17 districts recording zero infections in the previous 24 hours. Six districts recorded only one case respectively. This has helped decrease the caseload,” he said in a statement, Sunday.

He added that seven districts recorded a decrease, while five districts recorded an increase.

“Kota Kinabalu remained with double digit figures (18) while Penampang recorded two cases more with 14 infections. Sandakan, which recorded nine cases the day before, did not record any new infections,” he said.

Masidi said all 45 were cases were category one and two infections. 73 per cent were sporadic infections.

On Sabah’s immunisation programme, 987 individuals took their vaccines on Jun 4, of which 758 were adults and 229 were children.
