The creative talent has departed Manchester United at the expiry of his contract.
Mata, however, is not looking to get into coaching in the coming months.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Mata was offered a coaching role at United moving forward.
However, he believes that he still has a lot to offer on the pitch in the next couple of years.
Mata is now 34 and has spent the past eight years of his career at United.
