Chelsea are interested in Barcelona fullback Sergino Dest.
The 21-year old USA international is predominantly a right back but can also play on the left and that versatility is well liked by coach Thomas Tuchel.
Dest was considered in January and has been monitored since his time at Ajax.
Barca have already put offers to Chelsea pair Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta but with the financial straight jacket they find themselves in are limited to what transfer fees, if any, they can propose.
That could open the door for a player-plus-cash offer from Chelsea for Dest if he is willing to make the move to London, says the Daily Mail.
