Fatih Karagumruk are a step away from appointing Andrea Pirlo.

The former Juventus coach has been in Turkey this week for talks with the Turkish Super Lig club.

Pirlo had 12 months in charge of Juve before being sacked at the end of season 2020/21.

Sportitalia says he is now set to take charge at Fatih Karagumruk.

He'll be the third Italian tactician currently working in the Turkish Super Lig after Vincenzo Montella at Adana Demirspor and Francesco Farioli at Alanyaspor.
