Liverpool are set to welcome back Xherdan Shaqiri and Divock Origi back to Melwood on Monday.
The pair had been granted extra time to prepare for preseason training, which begun last week.
Shaqiri had to withdraw from the Nations League finals last month due to a minor injury.
Champions League hero Origi has spent most of his summer training in Los Angeles.
Both players will return in time for Thursday's friendly against Tranmere, according to the Liverpool Echo.
