Dean Smith disagrees with the idea that Jack Grealish must leave Aston Villa to win an England call-up.
The midfielder was in scintillating touch against Manchester United on Sunday.
Asked after the game, Smith said: "I don't agree with that. Tyrone Mings is in the England squad and during international weeks we have 12 players away.
"He just has to keep doing what he is doing."
He added: "He's pushing the people who choose the squad every time he pulls on a Villa shirt and that goal topped it.
"What he needed to improve on was goals and assists and he's starting to do that now. For the first half of the game he was controlling it."
