The 23-year-old Portuguese goalkeeper never played a minute for Diego Simeone's first team, instead going out on a series of loans during his time under contract with Los Rojiblancos.
He went to Moreirense, Uniao Madeira, Braga, Belenenses, Aston Villa and Feirense and now packs his bags once more.
