Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce has said that new signing Joelinton is not a "typical Brazilian."
The Magpies fans are hoping the attacker will be able to show the type of quality that justifies spending a club record fee to sign him from Hoffenheim.
The attacker won a penalty for Newcastle in his first appearance, a friendly against Preston North End.
"I think he'll be a big hit," Bruce told the Chronicle.
"He is full of life and full of energy and plays with his heart on his sleeve.
"He is not a typical Brazillian - all the silky skills that you associate - however, I think he will be an effective number nine."
