Club Brugge midfielder Marvelous Nakamba is eager to see a deal with Aston Villa rubberstamped.
HLN says Nakamba has gone AWOL from Club Brugge's preseason as he waits for Villa to settle terms.
The Premier League new boys made an 11m offer for the midfielder last month - which fell short of Brugge's assessment.
Nakamba is hopeful of Villa trying again in the coming days.
In the meantime, the Zimbabwe international remains AWOL from the club for a week now.
