Isaac Hayden is excited about the coming season with Newcastle United.
The midfielder was looking to move away from Tyneside, but changed his mind and decided to stay.
A heart to heart with new boss Steve Bruce convinced him that his immediate future was at Newcastle. Now he wants to have a great season with the Magpies.
Asked about the uncertainty around his future, he said to reporters: "Last season I just did my best, I still gave everything I could for the football club.
"And now the window's closed, there's a bit more certainty for not just myself, but for everybody and this is the group, obviously, that's going to be going forward for the season.
"We're just fully focused on what we have to do and how the manager wants us to play."
