Graham Potter has taken the blame for Brighton's loss to Chelsea.
The Seagulls conceded a penalty after Adam Webster's miscontrolled pass, with Jorginho converting from the spot.
Potter said: "Mistakes can happen.
"It's not the players' responsibility, it's mine. We ask them to play that way and Adam Webster is fantastic with the ball at his feet.
"He has tremendous quality but it can happen.
"We didn't lose the game because of that single mistake.
"We lost the game because, over the course of 90 minutes, Chelsea were better than us."
