Raphael Varane admits he'd be happy if he was joined at Real Madrid by France teammate Paul Pogba.
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba continues to be linked with Real, despite the summer market being shut.
And Varane says: "Have I exchanged with Pogba on this aborted transfer? I spoke with him last summer.
"After lately, I have not spoken with him. He is a friend. Of course, if I rub shoulders with him, it's better for me.
"So we will see the choices he makes in his career and we will see where he will be in the future."
