West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini is happy with their deal for Basel striker Albian Ajeti.
Pellegrini was speaking in his pre-game news conference ahead of Saturday's Premier League opener against Manchester City.
He said, "We lost three strikers from last year's squad, so he is a good striker to compete with Chicharito, Antonio and Haller for that position.
"I'm happy because we have completed the squad in the way we wanted. We have two players in each position and the best way is to have competition.
"We have done what we needed."
