Ajax midfielder Donny van de Beek has admitted there's been contact with Real Madrid.
However, Van de Beek feels that talk of his imminent departure is being exaggerated.
"Of course there is interest [from Real Madrid], but people are being too hasty", Van de Beek told FOX Sports.
The midfielder made the comments ahead of Ajax's Eredivisie opener against Vitesse on Saturday.
The Dutch midfielder shone for Ajax during their superb campaign last season and, as a result, has emerged as a serious target for Real Madrid.
