Barcelona's move for PSG star Neymar is being driven by president Josep Maria Bartomeu, it has been revealed.
Barca are in talks to re-sign the Brazil captain, though face competition from Real Madrid.
And it's been revealed Bartomeu is driving it personally amid opposition from inside the club.
Marta Ramon, a journalist with RAC 1, revealed: "The Neymar operation, if it is concrete, should be read as a 100% presidential action by Bartomeu to satisfy part of the dressing room and thinking of his own legacy.
"The technical department does not see him as a necessity and the economic managers sees it as a risk."
