Arsenal boss Unai Emery says Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac are ready to return against Burnley.

The pair were left out of the 1-0 win at Newcastle on the opening day due to "further security incidents" after they were involved in a car-jacking by an armed gang in July.

Asked if he was confident they were mentally prepared to play, Arsenal coach Emery said: "Yes, 100 percent. I am 100 percent with them. With their mentalities, they are focussed for us, for training and for [the] match. My focus is to be positive and think the players are 100 percent, with their minds here. I want to help them to be in normality with us, training, thinking and above all focussed on each training session and match.

"Of course, I am pleased they are back.

"They came back in Tuesday, Mesut was sick yesterday but today is getting better. When they are training consistently every day, it is good news for us because we can choose them to help us in the matches, and in the match on Saturday.

"If they are training consistently each day, they are in normal work in training, we decide and give the best solution for each moment. It's positive they are with us now."

Emery said the club was working with both players to ensure they continue to feel safe.

"The club is working and helping them with that," he said. "They are helping them in the training, in the preparation and being in the squad consistently for training. That will help, with their minds only focused on that training or those matches. At the moment they are calm with us every day."
