Crystal Palace fullback Patrick van Aanholt admits he tried to sign Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos for the club this week.
The Dutch defender, 28, shared a snap of himself posing alongside the Real Madrid veteran, 33, to his Instagram page.
He wrote the caption: "Agent PVA tried to do a madness on deadline day but Serg told me as much as he loves Souf Landan he can't leave his beloved Madrid."
