Everton fullback Jonjoe Kenny played down his record breaking heroics in Schalke's defeat of Hertha Berlin.
Kenny struck his first goal for his loan club in the 3-0 win - S04's first triumph at home since January 20. He also became the first Englishman to score for the club.
"My main job is to defend well. But the coach gives me the confidence to try a lot offensively," he explained.
"I scored that goal for England, I know I can do that, and I want to get into such situations more often."
Teammate Benjamin Stambouli said of his teammate, "Jonjoe Kenny arrived very quickly at Schalke. He has will and quality - and can be even better."
