Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill insists there's no problem with Leicester City defender Jonny Evans.

O'Neill simply did not want to risk Evans for his nation's friendly win over Luxembourg.

In the place of Evans and Watford's Craigh Cathcart, O'Neill fielded Sunderland's Tom Flanagan and Cardiff's Ciaron Brown, who had just one cap between them going into the friendly with Luxembourg.

I wasn't prepared to risk Jonny (Evans) or Craig (Cathcart) in this game so (Brown) came in at short notice, as did Tom Flanagan," O'Neill said.
