Liverpool winter Xherdan Shaqiri considers himself one of the leaders in the squad.
Swiss star Shaqiri has often spoken about his disappointment at not playing enough for the Reds.
While he has impressed when given a chance, he is behind Mohamed Salad and Sadio Mane for a position on the wings.
Speaking about his role at the club, he told Schweizer Illustrierte: "Apart from the fact that I would like to play more, I'm happy in Liverpool.
"I have a certain status in the team because I am one of the more experienced players.
"I think I'm one of the leaders."
