Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers praised his players' determination for victory at Brighton.
The Foxes followed up a goalless first half at AMEX Stadium on Saturday with two efforts after the interval, courtesy of Ayoze Prez and Jamie Vardy.
It's a difficult place to come," Rodgers told LCFC TV. You see their record here at home and how they've played and the teams they've beaten.
It was an excellent victory for us. I think we started the game very well with good possession and Jamie [Vardy] had a chance and before that Ayo (Ayoze Prez) had a chance at the back post, so we looked a real threat.
We had opportunities to score, but in the last 10 minutes of the first half they came into it then. In that moment, we had to stay strong.
We started well in the second half, and when you're away from home in the Premier League, you're never going to have it all your own way for every minute, so when you're under that little bit of pressure, then you have to stay strong and defensively compact, and the team was."
