Astana midfielder Ivan Mayevsky enjoyed victory over Europa League opponents Manchester United.
Mayevsky insists the youthful line-up of United was no insult towards Astana's players.
He said in the aftermath: "Absolutely no problem. Understand yourself, Manchester is one of the best teams in the world, and even the young guys who are in it, they have to go through great competition to get there. Even to be there and train.
"So they are talented in their generation. Regardless of which squad arrives, we wanted to play ourselves. It's great that we won.
"There was absolutely no disrespect. They took first place in the group, they left, they have a difficult schedule. That is, - you know, a couple of years ago, Stanimir Stoilov did the same when they played with Atletico, yes. Each proceeds from their realities. Why, if they have a difficult situation in the championship? It is clear that the championship is more important and they need to solve problems there."
