Arsenal manager Unai Emery was quick to thank Alex Iwobi for his contributions to the team.
The talented young winger has been with the Gunners since he was only 15.
Now 23, Iwobi has completed a big money move to Everton on transfer deadline day.
Emery thanked Iwobi and wished him well at his new club.
The Spanish coach told the club's official website : "Alex has made a big contribution here at Arsenal.
"He worked hard in the academy where he was an example to many young players and has been an important part of our squad.
"We wish Alex every success in the future."
