Bournemouth star Nathan Ake insists that everyone at the club is behind Simon Francis.
The Cherries skipper was asked about Francis picking up a red card in their 2-1 loss to Wolves at the weekend.
Rather than throwing his teammate under the bus, Ake defended Francis and said such things can happen to anyone on the team.
Francis was making his first start in nearly a year, as he returned from a serious knee injury.
Team-mate Ake told the Daily Echo: "It happened. We wouldn't want it to happen as a team or for him as well.
"We obviously want him to do well, but it happened. As a team we pick him up and it can happen to anyone.
"He's experienced enough so I'm sure he can get over it and the team will help him, obviously.
"Everyone backs each other."
