Former Liverpool striker Michael Owen is unsurprised seeing Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane butting heads.

Mane exploded in anger in the dug-out shortly after being substituted during Liverpool's 3-0 win at Burnley last weekend, raging at Salah's failure to pass when the Senegal star was free inside the area.

Owen, who was covering the Turf Moor game as a pundit and witnessed the Mane bust-up first hand, added: I saw it coming.

Usually there is a balance with your strikers. One is selfish and the other is unselfish. I was at my best with Emile Heskey who was really unselfish and I was the selfish one."
