In April 2017, the Perpustakaan Kuala Lumpur branch in TTDI closed their doors to undergo renovations. They wanted to upgrade their facilities, their selections, and have a whole new look. Now, two years later they have reopened their doors to the public!

Sometimes you just want a nice quiet place to study or do work without having to pay for an expensive meal or drink. A library is usually a great option because it’s a quiet environment with facilities that meet your needs.

Libraries come with desks and comfy chairs, books, and WiFi which is basically all you need nowadays. Unfortunately there are only a small handful of good public libraries available with the biggest one in Shah Alam.

Thankfully, we now have Pustaka KL at TTDI open! After a massive renovation they are back better and ready to serve. They’ve got new services, new ambiance, and even a new collection of book.

What’s New!

It also looks like a really nice place to bring children with the colourful walls and fun artwork. They were done by Arif Rafhan Othman who is a local comic and visual artist and is known to go by Superdoofus Creative.

One highlight of the library is that it is super children-friendly! So bringing your kids here is guaranteed to be a fun time for them. Pustaka KL at TTDI has interactive tables, an Internet corner, a games lounge, as well as a movie room.

Meanwhile, the main reading area looks pretty good as well. It’s very spacious and bright with round tables scattered throughout. There are also facilities such as a computer room, a meeting room, and even a TV room equipped with armchairs and beanbags! Perfect for a break.
