Manchester United are seeking to expand their army of global scouts.

The Manchester Evening News says United are looking for new scouts to operate in France and Spain to help the club identify "world class" players.

The club have posted adverts on their website to fill the vacancies, which are full-time roles to find players in La Liga and Ligue 1.

The successful candidates will be tasked with identifying "world class and emerging talent for the club, ensuring a talent pipeline and a world class first team squad."

The move comes during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's first transfer window as permanent United manager and he begins what he as billed as a "rebuild" at Old Trafford, with the focus on young, domestic talents this summer.
