Ralph Hasenhuttl says the time has come for Southampton to claim a "dirty win" when they face Leicester City on Saturday.
Saints have taken a single point from four Premier League matches at St Mary's this season.
Hasenhuttl said: "When you see the performances we showed at home and what we get for this, it was not enough, I think.
"We played sometimes better than the result was.
"The time has come to get a dirty win. Make this goal and then defend with everything you have and make it as nasty as possible for the opponent to get something here.
"I think the players know what it's about tomorrow and we're going into this game with all we have."
