West Ham United have found an alternative to Celta Vigo striker Maxi Gomez.
The Hammers are now targeting Sampdoria frontman Duvan Zapata.
A deal for Gomez fell through this week after West Ham couldn't agree a payment plan with Celta.
Colombia international Zapata scored 28 goals while on loan for Atalanta last season.
The Sun says Manuel Pellegrini has made the 28-year-old his number one target for the summer.
Attacking trio Marko Arnautovic, Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez have all departed the East London Stadium this summer.
