Arsenal have provided an update on Alexandre Lacazette.
The Frenchman has been sidelined since the international break with an ankle injury.
The club website released a statement stating: "Left ankle. Alex continues to rehabilitate the injury to his left ankle and is likely to be back in action in October."
It is thought Lacazette sustained the injury during preseason but had played through the pain.
But Gooners can now rejoice as the talismanic forward looks set to return this month.
