Valencia director general Mateu Alemany has officially left the club.
Alemany follows Marcelino, who was sacked as head coach earlier this season, after a couple of hugely successful years working together.
"Following the initial agreement reached last week for the termination of his contract, the now former director general of Valencia Mateu Alemany met with the club's majority shareholder Peter Lim in Singapore to bid farewell before formalising the agreement," Valencia said in a statement.
"Valencia wish to publicly express gratitude to Mateu Alemany for his enormous dedication, effort and achievements throughout his time at the entity, and wish him all the best in his professional career."
